Ukrainian football club Shakhtar Donetsk Thursday signed Brazil defensive midfielder Fernando Lukas Martins from Gremio.
The 21-year-old Brazil national will play for the Ukrainian club on a five-year, 11-million-euro contract, reports Xinhua.
Fernando has been playing for Gremio in Brazilian Serie A since 2010 and scored one goal in 69 matches. The 21-year-old also participated in six games for Brazil.
The Ukrainian club has already brought in another Brazilian midfielder Wellington Nem from Fluminense on a five-year deal.
