Sharif's advisor visits Indian mission to condole Kalam's death

The Pakistani prime minister's foreign affairs advisor Sartaj Aziz on Thursday visited the Indian High Commission here to offer his condolences on the demise of India's former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

Aziz, accompanied by Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, wrote his comments in the Condolence Book and expressed his country's sympathies with the government and the people of India, state-run Radio Pakistan reported.

Kalam was laid to rest on Thursday in his hometown Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu with full military honours. He died on Monday following cardiac arrest.
