Disgruntled BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha on Saturday questioned the union cabinet's decision to recommend President's Rule in Arunachal Pradesh and wondered what was the hurry when the matter was in court.

"I have tremendous faith in our dashing, dynamic, action hero Prime Minister Narendra Modi," Sinha tweeted.

"But wonder who the 'great' advisors are who advised President's Rule in Arunachal Pradesh. That too when the matter is sub judice, in the Supreme Court, under a five judge constitutional bench. Wonder what was the hurry and worry," he added.

Sinha's reaction came a day after the central government submitted in the Supreme Court its response to a petition filed by the Congress challenging Arunachal Pradesh Governor Jyoti Prasad Rajkhowa's report recommending the imposition of President's Rule in the state.

"God forbid, if the decision does not go in our favour, wonder what explanation and answer we will have for our respected prime minister," Sinha said in another tweet.
