Actor Shia LaBeouf and actress Mia Goth might not have been legally married, as there is no official record of a marriage licence for the pair, said officials.
The actor made it look like he exchanged wedding vows with his girlfriend here earlier this week, but local officials confirmed in a tweet posted on Wednesday that the pair have no marriage licence, reports aceshowbiz.com.
"Our records show no marriage licence for Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth. A commitment ceremony was performed in Vegas," the Clark County Nevada tweeted alongside a photograph of the former "Transformers" actor and Goth.
LaBeouf and Goth's wedding, which included an Elvis Presley impersonator, took place on Monday with unusual vows. In a video, he was seen wearing a dark suit and white sneakers while his long-time girlfriend donned a lace white dress.
"With this ring; I thee wed; With a prayer; that our love grows stronger; through the passing years. And I'll do whatever you ask me to do," an emotional LaBeouf told his bride at the time.
Goth said: "I give you this ring; as a token and pledge; of our vows to each other; praying that our love; shall never fade. And I'm pretty much going to do whatever I want."

The couple also promised to adopt one another's hounddogs, not to wear their blue suede shoes in the rain, to be "one another's teddy bear" and to love each other "like a hunka hunka burning love."
LaBeouf frequently makes headlines for his attention-grabbing stunts. He famously wore a paper bag with the words "I am not famous anymore" written on it during a premiere of his film "Nymphomaniac" back in 2014.
Earlier this year, he spent 24 hours in an elevator for another project. However, it's still unclear if the "commitment ceremony" was real or just another stunt.
