The Shiv Sena will sit in the opposition if the Devendra Fadnavis-led BJP government in Maharashtra takes the NCP's support to prove its majority in the state assembly, party chief Uddhav Thackeray said Sunday.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters after a meeting of the Sena legislators, Thackeray said his party would never tolerate an insult to it or Maharashtra.
