Shiwani visits Khandwa for Durga Puja celebrations (TV Snippets)

Actress Shiwani Chakraborty, known for shows like "Ek Thhi Naayka" and "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah", is excited to celebrate the ongoing Durga Puja festival with her family in her hometown Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh.

"I come from a Bengali family. I'm going to my hometown for Maha Ashtami and Mahanavmi puja. I'm excited to meet my family after a long time and celebrating Durga Puja," the "Nimki Mukhiya" actress said in a statement.

"As a Bengali girl, Durga Puja is very special to me," she added.

Piyush hails Aamir Dalvi as a 'brilliant photographer'

Actor Piyush Sahdev has praised his "Devanshi" co-star Aamir Dalvi for his photography skills.

 

He got to know about Aamir's passion for photography when he clicked him.

"I have known Aamir Dalvi for the past four years now. He is not just an amazing actor, but also a brilliant photographer. His work took me by surprise. It was an amazing experience and fun too," Piyush said in a statement.

Devoleena, Kajal's birthday wishes for onscreen daughter

Actresses Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Kajal Pisal, who played the onscreen mothers of Tanya Sharma in "Saath Nibhana Saathiya", have a special birthday message for the actress, who turned 22 on Wednesday.

"Tanya has always been a sweet person. She is fun to work with. We had lots of funny and crazy moments on the set. On her birthday, I wish she gets success and happiness in life," Devoleena said in a statement.

Kajal played step-mother to Tanya's character in the show.

She said: "We shared great vibes and it was fun working together. May all her wishes come true. Happiest birthday to the darling person."

Music is the best way to connect with the Almighty: Aparshakti

Actor Aparshakti Khurana says music is the best way to connect with the Almighty, adding that singing reality TV show "Om Shanti Om" has brought positivity into his life.

Aparshakti hosts the show, which is aired on Star Bharat.

"I was always a very positive person in life. The show has definitely made me more positive. I think music is the best way to connect with the Almighty," Aparshakti said in a statement.

Aparshakti broke down during the performance of ten-year-old Zaid Ali for the Dusshera special episode. Composer and judge Shekhar Ravjiani had to step in to comfort him.

Talking about it, Aparshakti said: "Every time Zaid sings I connect even more because he has a certain kind of innocence in his voice."

The show also features actress Sonakshi Sinha and singer Kanika Kapoor as judges, while yoga guru Baba Ramdev is the Maha Guru.
