The shooting for film director Mohit Suri's "Half Girlfriend", which stars actors Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, began here on Wednesday.
Co-produced by Chetan Bhagat, "Half Girlfriend" is an adaptation of an eponymous novel by the author.
The news of the shoot was shared by Bhagat, who tweeted: "Hi Guys, meet Madhav Jha. 'Half Girlfriend' starts shoot today in Delhi. ATB Mohit Suri, Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor."
"Finally, the story comes to life. Big day as 'Half Girlfriend' begins shoot! Mohit Suri, Shraddha Kapoor," Bhagat posted along with a photograph of the film's clapperboard.
Arjun, who will be seen playing the character of Madhav Jha, also shared a topless photograph of himself on Instagram and captioned it: "And so it begins...'Half Girlfriend' basketball. Mohit Suri, Shraddha Kapoor Let's Play!
This is not the first time that the "Gunday" will be working in an adaptation. He has also starred in the movie "2 States", an adaptation of Bhagat's book "2 States: The Story of My Marriage".
