Singapore, Abu Dhabi review bilateral ties

Abu Dhabi, March 7 (IANS/WAM) Abu Dhabi and Singapore have reviewed the progress they have made in existing bilateral cooperation in areas of education, economy and advanced technologies.

The two sides also explored prospects for furthering bilateral cooperation in vital sectors during the UAE-Singapore Joint Ministerial Committee meeting here.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan participated in the Joint Ministerial Committee meeting at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on Tuesday.

Present at the meeting were Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Dr Ahmad bin Abdulla AlFalasi, Minister of State for Higher Education and Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs, among others.
