A man was charged Wednesday with attacking a part-time Indian origin bouncer in a night club in Singapore.
Mohamed Asrafd Peer Mohamed, 22, was accused of grievously hurting Prakash Jagajeevan, 29, by attacking him with a glass fragment outside Infinity Club Sep 28, The Straits Times reported.
Asrafd will appear in court Oct 29 for the next hearing.
Clementi police division officers carried out extensive ground enquiries and follow-up investigations to establish the identity of the suspect who was arrested near Clementi Avenue 5 Tuesday.
Jagajeevan is believed to have been attacked after telling Asrafd to leave the premises due to his rowdy behaviour.
He is out of danger.
The maximum penalty in Singapore for causing grievous injury is 15 years in jail, a fine and caning.
