Half-a-dozen people were injured and one person was arrested following a brawl in a pub here, police said Friday.

A fight broke out between two groups following an altercation over a petty issue at the Empire pub and bar in a mall located on the Mehrauli-Gurgaon (MG) Road in DLF-2 area.

Vijay Kamal Sahu of sector 9 here and Amit Kumar, who works at Maruti Suzuki India Limited and hails from Jind district in Haryana, were in the bar with four friends for a birthday party.

"They had an altercation with a group of youths from Delhi at about 1 a.m. Friday," a senior police officer said.

The Delhi group whipped out pistols and threatened to kill them.

"Four people from Sahu's group were injured with two of them being admitted to a multi-specialty private hospital in Manesar," the officer said.

Deepak Kumar of Chanakyapuri in Delhi was arrested Friday afternoon for his involvement in the incident. Deepak's two friends received minor injuries.

"We are conducting raids in Delhi to nab the others (nearly half-a-dozen) involved in the brawl and for brandishing guns," the officer added.

Following a complaint by Sahu, a case was registered at DFL-2 police station under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act.
