Six people, including four women, were killed and 15 others were injured when the bus in which they were travelling fell into a pond in Tripura on Wednesday, police said.
"A packed passenger bus from Agartala going to South Tripura district headquarters Belonia fell into a pond after one of the front wheels broke. Six people were killed on the spot," police spokesman Uttam Bhowmik told IANS.
He said the 15 injured people, some of them in a serious condition, were taken to a government hospital. Police have launched the probe.
