Six people were killed and 40 others injured Wednesday evening when two buses collided head-on in Bangladesh's Dhamrai sub-district, 35 km west of here, a police officer said.
"Four passengers died on the spot and two others on the way to hospital. The two buses suffered heavy damage," police officer Abdur Rashid told Xinhua over the phone.
The officer said the injured people were admitted to hospitals in Dhamrai and Dhaka.
