Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel on Saturday seized Indian goods worth 50 million taka ($642,740) that were smuggled into the country.
A BGB official said that a covered van stuffed with Indian goods was stopped near a petrol pump in Magura district, bdnews24.com reported.
The seized goods are mostly Indian-made dresses, sarees and various types of dress materials.
Following standard rules, the products would be handed over to the customs department, the official said.
