Rapper Snoop Dogg has debuted his autobiographical film "COOLAID: The Movie", which chronicles his life and the pivotal moments that led to the rise of his music empire.
The movie, released on Friday is a reflection of Snoop's latest record, also called "COOLAID", and serves as the visual companion to his new music, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
Starting from his childhood, the film chronicles Snoop's early dreams of becoming a football player and later the downfall of his involvement with drugs and gang life.
Highlighting the start of his music career along with his infamous murder trial, the film sheds light on the highs and lows that come with stardom and how the artiste became a musical force in pop culture today.
"This is a piece that is near and dear to me -- it's a personal journey of my life," Snoop said.
