Snow and rain disrupted rail and highway traffic in China's Liaoning province, with dozens of trains delayed and highways closed on Saturday.
Emergency measures were activated to remove the ice and speed limits were imposed, Xinhua news agency reported.
Meanwhile, five expressway routes in Liaoning were completely shut down and ten others partially shut due to snow, which began to fall on Friday afternoon.
Local meteorological authorities issued an alert about heavy snowfall for Shenyang, Anshan, Yingkou and some other cities.
