migme Limited, a social entertainment platform for celebrity engagement, has announced the addition of a flurry of Indian artists like rapper Badshah and singer Arjun Kanungo in a bid to expand its artist engagement programme into the country.

The 12 artists also include Shraddha Sharma and Voctronica, Mihir Joshi, Shraey Khanna, Bhakti Arora, Stevie Grieve, Divine (Vivian Fernandis), Evelyn Sharma, Rikshawali, Sanam, Aalia Ibrahim, Funk U, Zubli Baruah and Mandeep Singh.

The Singapore-based company, which provides chat, microblogging and entertainment content to users, will allow Indian artists to bring their content, video and fan base to migme to grow their audiences on multiple online platforms.

"Considering the dynamic nature of the market here, I am sure our platform will become a great opportunity for artists to expand their visibility and for fans to deeply engage with them," migme CEO Steven Goh said in a statement.

Badshah says it gives an artist an interactive platform.

"Fans are what keeps an artist going and migme is a great platform to get them to engage with us. Not only does this give our music a wider audience, but also gives the artist an interactive platform wherein they can touch the lives of their fans directly," Badshah said.
