Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who is in news for his controversial tweets, has now hit at out at actress Sonam Kapoor. He has called her a superstar of the film "Neerja" and himself, a flop director of "Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag".
Varma's tweet came after actor Kamaal R. Khan drew his attention to Sonam's comment.
"Sarkar RGV, Sonam Kapoor is saying on NDTV that nobody should take you seriously because you are nobody. Lol," Khan wrote.
To that, Varma tweeted: "She's 100 per cent right because she's superstar of 'Neerja' and am super flop of 'Aag'."
The filmmaker also shared that however low the actress thinks of him, he thinks "very high of her".
Varma, known for movies like "Satya" and the "Sarkar" series, faced the ire of feminists, activists and political parties for his controversial International Women's Day comments on Sunny, a former porn star.

His tweet -- "I wish all the women in the world give men as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives" -- triggered a storm of protests on Twitter.
The filmmaker, who later apologised to those "who genuinely got offended and not to those who ranted for publicity".
On the work front, Varma is gearing up for the release of his upcoming dirctorial "Sarkar 3", starring megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee, Amit Sadh and Yami Gautam.
