Sony on Monday announced that it has started the Android 7.0 Nougat update rollout for its flagship Xperia XZ that comes with a triple sensor camera.
With the update, the device will have a multi-window support, enabling the smartphone to run two apps simultaneously and double tap to switch between each.
The update will also deliver a longer battery life and a new messaging app enabling user to share videos and audio with a few taps.
Sony launched its premium flagship smartphone Xperia XZ in September this year. The Rs 51,990 device is available across all Sony centres and major electronic outlets.
The water-resistant Xperia XZ has two powerful cameras -- a 23MP main camera with triple image sensing technology that captures images with three times the precision and a 13MP wide angle front camera.
