Sony SAB channel has come out with a no-honking awareness campaign titled Drive Gupp Chupp here.
The campaign is launched to spread awareness about nuisance of unnecessary honking and to curb noise pollution due to it in the city. The channel came out with the initiative as a marketing strategy for its upcoming silent comedy show "Gupp Chupp".
Drive Gupp Chupp campaign was introduced on Thursday, and will run for two weeks. There will be intensive communication through various types of message boards on 'no honking' at various traffic prone areas here, read a statement.
The channel has also put out witty hoardings at major junctions and also across the city urging motorists to drive safely without honking.
Anooj Kapoor, Senior Executive Vice President and Business Head, SAB TV, said: "We hope to contribute towards the campaign and make a difference with our Drive Gupp Chupp initiative."
