Following a report that Sony would cut ties with Dr. Luke amid his nasty legal battle with Kesha (formerly Ke$ha), his lawyer has said that the producer had an "excellent relationship" with the company and they had never discussed plan to drop him.
"His representatives are in regular contact with executives at the highest levels at Sony, and this has never come up," the lawyer told tmz.com.
Meanwhile, Sony chose not to comment on the issue.
Kesha's fans as well as fellow celebrities who support her have been asking Sony to release the singer from her contract with Luke's Kemosabe Records (which is owned by Sony), after a New York judge refused to do so last month.
