Global software security firm Sophos on Wednesday announced a partnership with Japan-based Konica Minolta to secure its popular platform "Workplace Hub".
"Sophos XG Firewall" and "Sophos Wireless" will now integrate into "Workplace Hub" -- an enterprise IT solution by Konica Minolta designed for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
"Due to its easy management and deep visibility into network activity, 'XG Firewall' is perfect for Konica Minolta's vision for the workplace of the future," said Francois Depayras, Vice President for Global OEM Alliances, Sophos, in a statement.
"Workplace Hub" integrates everything from basic office automation functions to security, Internet of Things (IoT) device management and data storage in a single platform.
"We needed a reliable yet simple security solution that can support our road-map for future integration of IoT, artificial intelligence (AI) and other mature capabilities as they become more central to the business environment of tomorrow," added Dennis Curry, Executive Director of Global R&D, Konica Minolta, in the statement.
