Ze Luis scored a brace to help FC Spartak Moscow beat cross-town rivals CSKA Moscow 3-1 in the 12th round of the Russian Premier League football tournament.
Cape Verde striker Luis on Saturday excelled in the 76th and 89th minutes, adding to the lead given by Denis Glushakov (19th minute) for Spartak in the highly-anticipated Moscow derby, reports Tass.
Carlos Strandberg scored the sole goal for CSKA excelled at the 82nd minute at Spartak's home stadium in the Tushino area, in northwestern Moscow.
After this victory, Spartak are leading in the league, getting 28 points after twelve matches.
The situation in the pitch was as exciting as on the spectator stands where the fans of both teams, known for rather tense relations, tried to provoke each other on a number of occasions and hurled blazing pyrotechnical devices from one stand to another.
The game was interrupted for several minutes because of dense smoke caused by pyrotechnics.
