SpiceJet adds new flights in summer schedule

Budget airline SpiceJet on Wednesday said it will operate three new flights and six new frequencies during its summer schedule from March 27.

According to the low cost carrier, the new services will offer more seats and connect key destinations.

The airline will increase its operations to 306 daily flights in the new schedule from 240 flights operated during the last summer schedule.

The airline will launch direct flights for sectors like Mumbai-Udaipur, Tirupati-Vijayawada and Vijayawada-Vishakhapatnam in order to cater to the peak summer rush from March to October.

It will enhance frequencies on Delhi-Srinagar, Hyderabad-Chennai, Delhi-Dharamshala, Chennai-Vishakhapatnam and Hyderabad-Bengaluru among others.

 

The airline is also connecting international destinations like Dubai, Bangkok and Colombo to southern Indian cities like Vijaywada and Tirupati via Chennai and Hyderabad.
