Low-cost airline SpiceJet on Monday announced introducing daily direct flights between Goa and Ahmedabad and additional flights between various Indian cities in its winter schedule effective from October 25.
"We are happy to launch a large number of new flights today. With these flights, passengers have many more options to travel to Goa and on some of the frequently flown sectors. We will continue to add new flights in the days to come," said Shilpa Bhatia, senior vice president, SpiceJet, in a statement.
The airline added second flights between the cities of Mumbai and Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Chennai, and Delhi and Ahmedabad, the statement said.
SpiceJet added third flights between Delhi and Chennai, Chennai and Madhurai and Mumbai and Goa.
The airline also flies twice daily between Kochi and Hyderabad, Chennai and Coimbatore and added a third flight between Delhi and Goa on Saturdays, the statement added.
Boeing 737 - 800 aircraft will be deployed for all the additional flights introduced in the new schedule.
SpriceJet operates 250 daily flights to 41 destinations of which seven are international.
