Allu Sirish-starrer Telugu family drama "Srirastu Subhamastu" has amassed around Rs 11 crore worldwide in nine days of its release.
"In nine days in cinemas worldwide, 'Srirastu Subhamastu' has grossed around Rs 11 crore. The film surpassed Sirish's last outing's full run share in the first week itself. Going by the numbers and the overall response, this could be adjudged as a major hit in Sirish's career," trade analyst Trinath told IANS.
Having won over audiences, Sirish has also earned laurels from his senior counterparts in the industry.
His last release was "Kotha Janta", and "Srirastu Subhamastu" released on August 5.
At the recently concluded success meet, veteran filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao heaped praise on the youngster.
"I introduced Sirish, his brother (Allu Arjun) and Mahesh Babu as child artists many years ago. I'm proud of Sirish's growth as an artist. Instead of choosing scripts that are high on heroism, Sirish chose what he's most suitable for," he said.

Sirish made his acting debut with 2013 Tamil-Telugu bilingual "Gouravam".
Director V.V Vinayak, who is known for his collaboration with stars like Chiranjeevi and NTR, is happy that Sirish is focusing on doing family dramas.
"Most actors from his generation are keen on doing mass-appealing films with action and punch dialogues. Sirish, however, has set a new trend for family subjects. This will encourage filmmakers to write such scripts regularly," he said.
Directed by Parasuram, "Srirastu Subhamastu" also stars Lavanya Tripathi, Rao Ramesh and Tanikella Bharani.
