'Start-Up India' to be livestreamed on Karl Mehta's EdCast

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's launch of "Start-Up India" event on Saturday will be livestreamed on EdCast for benefit of students and entrepreneurs across the country.

Headed by Indian techie Karl Mehta in Silicon Valley, EdCast is the world's leading social knowledge network that powers social, mobile and cloud-based learning for top institutions, enterprises, governments and other organizations.

Mehta, who is scheduled to speak at Start-Up India, said EdCast is a knowledge network which enables and educates and the Start-Up India, Stand Up India must reach each and every student.

Launched by Mehta in May 2015, as a Stanford StartX, EdCast is soon expected to hit one million users.

 

Founder-CEO of PlaySpan Inc. which was acquired Visa Inc, Mehta was selected as a White House Presidential Innovation Fellow by President Barack Obama in 2012-2013.
