Four unidentified armed assailants snatched a steel trader's car from his driver in Ghaziabad and drove off with Rs.32 lakh kept in the vehicle, police said.
The driver was attacked late Saturday night outside businessman Ajay Garg's house in Raj Nagar neighbourhood, police said.
Moments after Garg got off his car outside his house around 10 p.m., the assailants came in a stolen car and snatched the trader's vehicle from his driver and drove off, taking along a bag, carrying Rs.32 lakh, police said.
Garg's driver was injured with a blade when he resisted the assailants, police said.
The businessman's robbed vehicle was Sunday found abandoned near Jassipura in Sihani Gate area of Ghaziabad, police said.
Circle Officer Kishan Singh Talan said during investigation it was found that the car in which the criminals came to Garg's house was stolen from sector-50 Noida around 3 p.m. Saturday.
