Actor Steve Carell thinks he'll gain his wife's "love" if he wins a Golden Globe Award.
The 53-year-old, who is nominated for the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical) for his portrayal of Mark Baum in "The Big Short", says he might finally get his wife of 11 years, Nancy Carell's "approval" if he wins, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"(If I win, I) might finally gain my wife's love and approval," Carell told "Entertainment Tonight".
While Nancy joked back: "Well you already won one, so that was good for 10 years. But it's worn off."
Hosted by Ricky Gervais, the 73rd Golden Globe Awards, to be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel's Grand Ballroom, will take place on Sunday.
