A first-year graduation student in West Bengal's Birbhum district was caught cheating with a bluetooth device concealed in a seemingly innocuous wig.
The mass of fake curly hair was worn by Mohd. Saif - the examinee - for two consecutive days of the examination schedule.
However, his luck ran out on the third day Thursday when invigilators grew suspicious after seeing him blare out words while writing his test at the Suri Vidyasagar College in the district.
According to the college's principal, Laxmi Narayan Mondal, Saif, a philosophy honours student from Sainthia Avedananda College, has been debarred from the rest of the examinations.
