The national capital experienced a sunny and sultry Sunday morning with the minimum temperature settling at 27 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year. The Met office has forecast rains in some parts of the city.
"The skies will generally remain cloudy with rain and thunderstorms in some parts of the city," an India Meteorological Department official said.
The maximum temperature Sunday is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 84 percent.
The national capital has recorded 431.4 mm of rain since the arrival of early monsoon in June.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled a notch above average at 35.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum was a notch below average at 26.2 degrees Celsius.
