TV actor Sumeet Sachdev, best remembered for playing Gautam Virani aka Gomzy in hit show "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi", will be seen on the small screen after four years with "Yeh Hai Aashiqui".

Sumeet will be seen in the role of Aseem Sen in "Yeh Hai Aashiqui", which airs on Bindass.

"Predominantly, the roles that I have done have been more towards the grey shade people. I like to be cast like a grey shade person, who in the long run may become alright, but the stepping stone is always the bad guy," said Sumeet.

While talking about his character in "Yeh Hai Aashiqui", Sumeet added: "I have never done romance, so Aseem's character in 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui' was a bit challenging for me."

Known for his versatility, the TV actor also ventured in direction. He made his directorial debut in the short film "Rehman Saheb Ko Phone Karna Hai".
