It was a clear and sunny day for the national capital Thursday, even as cold winds brought the maximum temperature three notches below average at 25.6 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Shallow fog enveloped the city early in the morning and the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below average.
The maximum humidity during the day was 88 percent, while minimum humidity was recorded at 39 percent.
Similar weather conditions are expected Friday, with maximum and minimum temperatures expected to be around 26 and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Wednesday's maximum temperature was 26.2 degrees Celsius, three notches below average, while the minimum temperature was two notches below average at 11 degrees Celsius.
