A misty morning gave way to a sunny, pleasant day Monday and the maximum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 31.2 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast similar weather Tuesday.
"There will be light mist early morning tomorrow (Tuesday) but the afternoon will be sunny," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 31 and 16 degrees Celsius respectively.
Monday morning was sunny and the minimum temperature settled at 15 degrees -- average for this time of the year.
The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 85 percent.
Sunday's maximum and minimum temperatures settled a notch above the season's average at 31.1 degrees Celsius and 15.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
