Sunny Monday in Delhi, Tuesday likely to be cloudy

A hot, humid day was seen Monday in the national capital with the maximum temperature recorded three notches above average at 36.4 degrees Celsius and the humidity as high as 80 percent. The Met office has forecast cloudy Tuesday with thundery conditions.

"The skies will be partly cloudy with thundery conditions developing in some parts of the city," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

The maximum and minimum temperature is likely to hover around 37 and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Monday's minimum temperature settled a notch above average at 27 degrees Celsius, while the humidity wavered between a high of 80 percent and and low of 49 percent.

 

Sunday's weather was similar as the maximum temperature settled at 36.3 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average. The minimum was 25.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
