It was a sunny morning in the national capital on Monday with the minimum temperature recorded at 24.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, the weather office said, predicting light rains for the day ahead.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
"The sky will be partly cloudy during the day while light rain and thundershower is expected ahead," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 87 per cent.
The maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 32.7 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled at 25 degrees Celsius, both one notch below the season's average.
