The national capital experienced sunny skies and chilly winds Saturday as the maximum temperature settled two notches below average at 18.5 degrees Celsius. Similar weather is expected Sunday, the Met office said.
"The afternoon will be sunny and there will be light mist early morning and in the evening," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and the minimum temperature are likely to hover around 19 and 7 degree Celsius.
Saturday morning was moderate with the minimum temperature settling a notch below the season's average at 6.4 degree Celsius.
Light fog enveloped the city in the morning but the flights remained unaffected. However, around a dozen trains coming into Delhi were running late due to fog in parts of north India, an official of the Northern Railway said
Friday's maximum temperature settled two notches below the season's average at 18 degrees Celsius, where as the minimum temperature settled at 5.2 degrees Celsius two notches below the season's average.
