The week ended on a sunny and comparatively warm note in the capital as the maximum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 27.5 degrees Celsius. Similar weather is expected Monday.
"The day would be sunny and pleasant and light mist will envelope the city early morning and in the evening," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 27 and 12 degrees Celsius.
Sunday morning was nippy and the minimum temperature settled at 11.5 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season.
Saturday's maximum and minimum temperature were recorded at 27.1 degrees and 10.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
