Sunny Thursday in Delhi, Friday morning to be misty

A day after a sudden dip in temperature, the national capital experienced a sunny Thursday with the maximum temperature settling at 28.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below the average.

The Met Office has forecast a misty morning on Friday.

"There will be a light mist on Friday morning while the day ahead would be partly cloudy," the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 29 and 16 degrees Celsius respectively.

Thursday's minimum temperature settled at 15.3 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.

The maximum humidity was recorded at 85 percent.

 

Wednesday broke the last five years' record for the coldest October 28 with the maximum temperature settling at 26.3 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded one notch above the average at 17.5 degrees Celsius.
