The national capital experienced a sunny day on Tuesday with the minimum temperature at 26.7 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, the Met office said.
Though the rainfall was nil, the weather office expects drizzling or light rains on Wednesday.
"The sky will remain mainly clear," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said, adding the maximum temperature on Tuesday was likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature on Tuesday was at 26.5 degrees, a notch above the season's average, while the humidity oscillated between 72 and 57 per cent.
Mondya's maximum temperature settled at 34.6 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average and minimum temperature was recorded at 25.4 degrees Celsius.
