It was a sunny day on Wednesday with the maximum temperature settling at 35 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, the Met office said. A misty morning is expected on Thursday.
"There would be misty morning on Thursday while the sky is likely to be clear throughout the day," said an official of India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 20 degrees Celsius, respectively.
It was a clear Wednesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 20.4 degrees Celsius, or average for the season, while the humidity oscillated between a high of 88 and low of 35 per cent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 34.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 21 degrees Celsius, both average for the season.
