The national capital experienced a sunny, pleasant Wednesday as the maximum temperature settled at 24 degrees Celsius, slightly above the season's average. Similar weather is likely Thursday, the Met Office said.
"There will be light fog in the morning tomorrow (Thursday) but the afternoon will be sunny and warm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 25 and eight degrees Celsius, respectively.
Wednesday morning saw light fog and the minimum temperature settled two notches below the season's average at 8.3 degrees Celsius.
Due to fog, the arrival of eight trains to the city was delayed while three other trains had to be rescheduled. One train had to be cancelled, the Northern Railway said.
The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 95 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 24.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 10.5 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's average.
