A misty morning gave way to a sunny day in the national capital Wednesday, as the maximum temperature settled at 30 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year. The Met department has forecast similar weather Thursday.
"There will be light fog early morning tomorrow (Thursday) but the sky will remain clear through the day," said an India Meteorological Department official.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 31 and 17 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Visibility was recorded at 500 metres in many parts of Delhi Wednesday morning and the minimum temperature was recorded two degrees above the average at 17 degrees Celsius.
The day's maximum humidity settled at 86 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was 31.8 degrees Celsius, slightly above the season's average, while the minimum settled two notches above the normal at 16.8 degrees Celsius.
