Super Fight League names new COO

Mixed Martial Arts competition Super Fight League on Thursday announced the appointment of Rajesh Mehta as its chief operating officer.

The league, which is also promoted by British professional boxer and two-time world champion Amir Khan, starts from January next year, according to a release.

The franchisee based league will feature eight teams, which is being organised in association with the All India Martial Arts Association (Aimmaa).

Commenting on the development, Mehta said in the release, "I am extremely happy to assume the operational charge of Super Fight League and will endeavour to make it one of the most exciting and sought after sports experience for the viewers."

 

Super Fight League CEO and the league's principal founder Bill Dosanjh said:" Rajesh is a man of vast experience and expertise and Super Fight League with its ground breaking announcement is on the threshold of changing the history of MMA in India."

"This is a move that requires the right handling and I feel there is no one better than him to help Super Fight League actualize its potential. We at Super Fight League wish him all the best for his future endeavours with us," he added.
