External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who on Wednesday made her first appearance in the Lok Sabha after a kidney transplant, walked into the Lok Sabha with the entire house welcoming her with thumping of desks.
Sushma Swaraj, accompanied by Water Resources Minister Uma Bharati, entered the house after the Question Hour ended.
Lok Speaker Sumitra Mahajan welcomed her by saying: "I welcome you on behalf of the entire house and wish you a long life."
Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharage said: "We welcome you and hope that you would continue to serve the nation."
Soon after Sushma Swaraj took her seat at the first row of treasury bench after greeting the house, Congress member Jyotiraditya Scindhia and Union Minister Sadanand Gowda rushed towards her seat and talked briefly enquiring about her health.
Sushma Swaraj, before making her statement over the killings of Indians in the US, thanked the entire house for her welcome.

"I thank you all from the deep of my heart for your blessings. Apart from this It was lord Krishna's blessings that I am back in the house."
After Sushma Swaraj ended her statement, Speaker Mahajan appreciated her and said: "After a long time the house heard your powerful voice."
