Swedish football club Malmo has announced that head coach Age Hareide will not continue in his post next season.
Danish media reported on Wednesday that the 62-year-old Norwegian coach is a leading candidate to succeed Denmark coach Morten Olsen, who left after the team failed to qualify for the Euro 2016, reports Efe.
The Swedish club, which has already begun searching for a new coach for next season, on Wednesday thanked Hareide for his work over two years when he led the team to win a league title and advance twice to the group stage of the European Champions League.
Malmoe finished last season in fifth place of the league standings and will face Real Madrid on Tuesday in the last clash of the Champions League group stage.
