51 yr old woman dies of swine flu in Delhi

The woman is known to have died of multiple organ failure

A 51-year-old woman has succumbed to swine flu in the Indian capital.

The woman,was from Ghaziabad and admitted to a hospital there for fever and cold. When her condition deteriorated, she was moved to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi.

She reportedly tested positive for swine flu earlier this week and her condition worsened rapidly.

The health department has provided the Tamiflu vaccine to anyone who was in contact with the woman, including the hospital staff and her family members.

The woman passed away two days ago at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, the sources told IANS.

Two cases of swine flu have been reported in Delhi till now.
