At least seven people were killed and 15 others injured Friday when a rocket fired from across the Syrian border hit a residential area in the town of Arsal in northeastern Lebanon
The rocket coming from the Syrian side landed on a civilian house in Arsal in the Bekaa valley, Xinhua reported citing the National News Agency.
Meanwhile, several other rockets fired from near the Lebanese-Syrian border also landed in the Bekaa region Friday, but causing no casualties, the agency said, adding the areas of al-Labwe, Zaboud and the outskirts of Hermel were also hit.
