The security forces also injured three other militants in the ambush, said Afghan Army spokesperson Abdul Khalil.
"Acting upon intelligence report, the security forces attacked Taliban militants on motorbikes in Kunduz province, killing two rebels on the spot and injuring three others," Khalil told Xinhua news agency.
