Tata Sons, the investment holding company of $97 billion Tata Group, Thursday appointed Sunil Sinha as resident director for Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and said it will set up an office in Dubai in collaboration with its overseas unit Tata International.
Dubai will be the head office of Tata Sons' MENA region.
"The office's objective is to further enhance and strengthen Tata Sons' engagement with all stakeholders in the MENA region, facilitating business growth for Tata Group companies, especially in focus sectors that are crucial to development in MENA and are of strategic interest to the group," Tata Sons said in a statement here.
Sinha has been in the Tata Group for over 31 years, most recently as the CEO of Tata Quality Management Services.
As resident director for MENA region, Sinha will report to Madhu Kannan, member, group executive council, Tata Sons.
