Indian automobile major Tata Motors on Tuesday launched its two new cars - compact sedan Zest and hatchback Bolt in Sri Lanka.
"These two cars, loaded with many segment-leading features, are built to global design and product standards and will appeal equally to the first-time buyers, as well as existing automobile owners looking for a new and exciting product," said Johnny Oommen, head for international business, passenger vehicles, Tata Motors.
"We expect Bolt and Zest to further strengthen our presence in the local market here," Oommen said.
According to the company, the two newly launched vehicles have been designed across India, Britain and Italy.
The Zest was launched in India last August 2014 and the Bolt was introduced in January. Both cars are manufactured in Pune.
